Lucille Dee along with her husband Dr C.E. Dee and her brother I.C. Frederickson, began HAH many years ago. When not checking on her three sons whom are all currently practicing Veterinarians at HAH, Lucille can be found in the Annex offices maintaining the bills and payroll along with many other administrative duties. |

Liz Zelinka is part of the Human Resources Department, Serves as Administrative Assistant along with handling various accounting responsibilities. |

Nancy French is the HAH Veterinary Practice Manager and has been a Technician here since her teenage years. She was a member of Dr Jon’s surgical team for most of the duration of her years here until her career shifted into the managerial portion of our team. Nancy has been commuting over an hour each way for many years and is a driving force in the day to day success and happiness of our hospital team and clientele. |
Reception
The first faces you will see as you enter Hollywood Animal Hospitals doors are our well trained and welcoming receptionists. They are all trained to deal with the high volume of clientele this hospital has had since it has opened and continues to have on a daily basis. From the minute our doors open until they close for emergency hours, we have staff waiting to assist you as you walk in our doors. The receptionists are responsible for maintaining all client / patient charts and records and updating them whenever that is necessary. They are also responsible for receiving all incoming appointment scheduling as well as assisting clients in any way possible.
Veterinary Assistants
The Veterinary Assistants of Hollywood Animal Hospital are responsible for many duties of which include being the first to respond to incoming emergencies on a daily basis and delivering them to the Vet Technicians and Doctors in the prep area. Other duties that the assistants fulfill include appointment preparation, gathering of patient data/history, obtaining vital signs, blood collection and the collection of fecal samples, medication preparation. The assistants are also trained to restrain animals for procedures and general exam room assistance for the many doctors.
Veterinary Technicians
The Veterinary Technician team at Hollywood Animal Hospital consists of over 30 individuals who are dedicated to maintaining optimum treatment of all hospitalized patients. The technicians have a plethora of duties which include: providing nursing care such as medications and IV fluid treatments, bandaging and wound management, Drawing blood and urine samples, radiography and dentistry, surgical prep and monitoring, general doctor assistance, receive all incoming emergencies and assess needed stabilizing measures.
Laboratory Technicians 
The Hollywood Animal Hospital Laboratory technicians include Chris Woodard, Amy Pepin and Sunshine Downer. All three technicians have been HAH team members for many years and they are responsible for almost all of the day to day bloodwork, urinalysis, cytologies, microbiological tests and much more. Outside laboratories regularly submit samples and examine their results for accuracy.
Kennel Attendants
Hollywood Animal Hospital not only provides emergency care for hospitalized animals but also boarding and bathing capabilities. We are able to house over a hundred cats and dogs at any given time in the two facilities. Our Kennel attendants are responsible for feeding, cleaning and bathing all of the dogs that are boarding in our wards and making sure the laundry is always clean and ready for use. 
Cats can also be bathed on request or if necessary. HAH also provides numerous bath and dip choices for treating topical conditions such as Scabies, Ringworm, Demodexx not to mention the everyday Flea and Tick Dips. We do not provide Grooming at the HAH but Body Shaves are available for both cats and dogs and are done by appointment only.
